Video: This Is Not a Photograph of Morgan Freeman

Everyone has talent. You have talent. I have talent. But the fact that someone possesses this much talent enrages me. To be clear, this is not a photograph of Morgan Freeman…

From Mashable.com:

“This incredibly realistic painting of Morgan Freeman was created with just one finger on an iPad Air, all in one layer.

Artist Kyle Lambert is a trained oil painter and illustrator from the UK who uses his YouTube account to upload time-lapses of his impressive iPad painting projects, frequently choosing celebrities such as Freeman for his subjects.

Lambert told Mashable the painting took a month to create using the iPad app Procreate.

“It captures every brush stroke automatically and you can export it to the camera roll,” Lambert explained. “It has the best canvas size and and video export. It’s the most like Photoshop.”

Even after watching the video several times, you probably still won’t believe that he created something so realistic using the same device your niece uses to play Angry Birds, so check out some bonus videos below for further proof.”

**Update 01.18.2014**

There appears to be a number of claims across the internet suggesting the digital painting is a hoax. So much as I can tell, the internet community seems to have debunked these claims and has, at the time of this update, concluded that the digital painting is in fact real.
